My ‘Paint, Pen & Feathers’ Series is my way of displaying little pieces of nature‘s beautiful treasures. Some of my artwork displays a single feather, some a variety of feathers from multiple birds. I also like to weave in dried plant pieces like nutshells, seeds and seed casings, or dried animal pieces like shells, teeth, bones, and skulls. Everything in nature inspires me and the infinite potential for displaying it’s beauty is my muse.

My second Series ‘Glass Paintings’, allows me to marry my love for realistic painting and my obsession with drawing decorative flourishes. These paintings are extremely unique with a painting on top of the glass & a painting underneath on paper creating a beautiful 3D effect.

Inspired by vibrant colored feathers, I began painting ducks and these paintings caught the interest of a passionate fisherman and an ocean enthusiast who commissioned me to paint fish in this style.

Chalkboard artwork is a favorite of mine. While running a yoga studio I used a chalkboard for interacting with our community and to share about things going on. I’ve also drawn up chalkboards with menus, band names, inspirational table tents, and more. My graphic design background comes in handy when it comes to signage and using customized typography.

Jagua gel, is like henna paste but a different plant and a different color. They’re temporary tattoos with the same ornamental flavor as henna, just in black rather than brown.

Peach’s Neet Feet donated custom, hand-painted shoes to children living with disabilities and fighting serious illnesses. Every shoe was customized to complement each child’s life, interest, and courageous fight. These personalized, one of a kind gifts lifted the spirits of children and their families. When a child is fighting an illness, the whole family is impacted. With the web of caring individuals and the gift of personalized shoes, families were supported and strengthened.

I volunteered to be an artist for Peach’s Neet Feet for 3 years and painted about 45 pairs of shoes. Every pair I painted filled my heart with so much joy, like nothing I had ever felt.
